Jane’s Defense Weekly reports from Farnborough International Airshow that MiG and the Russian Defense Export Agency have proposed to sell the MiG-31E to several middle eastern countries including Syria. The MiG-31 is widely considered to be the fastest fighter on the market and highly capable. MiG engineers claim, among other strengths, successful tests against cruise missile type targets. Let’s hope things calm down before these start to show up:
