I won’t even use the dreaded “S” word for fear of what it may bring in unwanted traffic. I usually get 20-30 sp*m hits per day and Askimet does an outstanding job of diverting 99% of them straight to the trash where they belong. Last night one penetrated the wire and that single successful assault drew a barrage: 142 sp*m attacks were repelled by this morning. Most of them were solicitations for pharmaceuticals. Any drug you can imagine. Do people really purchase drugs from unsolicited anonymous sources over the Internet and then ingest them? Based on the amount of phishing I’m seeing I have to conclude that they do and in large numbers.
Yikes!
