Went and read his post and the comments. Didn’t understand most of the jargon, but certainly could understand the gist of it. And especially enjoyed the comments — the “oh, I remember the time” — it’s always interesting and fun to hear (sorry, read).
Look over in my sidebar under the Humor heading – I posted a link to the Tailhook Association’s glossary of terms used in Naval Aviation. Like most other technical specialties, Naval Aviation has a language all its own. Given the twisted sense of humor required to survive in such an envir0nment, the glossary is full of laughs.
