Supply and Demand

by Steve on May 4, 2009

Demand for new cars in the US market has placed the entire industry in survival mode.  Maybe they should start shipping to Venezuela.

The waiting list for a new car in Venezuela can last up to two years, so now every car that rolls out of a showroom immediately increases in value, making a used car more expensive than a new one.

Why don’t they “order” one from somewhere else? I know there’s prob. all kinds of taxes and all, but if they money to spend, why not get even a used car from here?
