Obamacare

A Doctor speaks out.

For those of you who are  over 65, this  bill in its present form might be lethal for you. People in England over 59 cannot receive stints for their coronary arteries. The government wants to mimic the British  plan. For those of you younger, it will still mean restriction of the care that you and your children receive.

Do you really want the government to decide if you’re worth working on?

**Update** US Representative John Fleming, Republican, 4th District of Louisiana is sponsoring a resolution that would force our legislators to enroll in whatever plan they pass. As it stands now they are exempt from Obamacare.

Under the current draft of the Democrat healthcare legislation, members of Congress are curiously exempt from the government-run health care option, keeping their existing health plans and services on Capitol Hill. If Members of Congress believe so strongly that government-run health care is the best solution for hard working American families, I think it only fitting that Americans see them lead the way. Public servants should always be accountable and responsible for what they are advocating.

I like the way the Honorable Congressman from Louisiana thinks. Did I mention that he was a Navy Medical Officer and private practice MD as well?
