Tucked in the back of an Aviat Husky amphib reminded me of another time and plane: the T-34. The rear seat in the Husky has a stick, throttle, and rudder pedals so once safely airborne I got some flight time. It took a little effort to get the feel for coordinated turns again and my panel scan was a bit rusty!
Flying low over the lake with the window open was a much better ride than suffering through the holiday weekend chop in a boat. Thanks for the ride Vaughn!
